I was ready to buy the WK-3500 I spend about an hour trying every style and variation, sounds etc. Behind me, to my left was the PSR1500, while I was playing the Casio I kept turning to my left and checking the price tag on the PSR1500 and kept playing the WK-3500 trying to convince myself that's what I wanted, becasue I don't have enough for the PSR1500.......ANd then I got up and sat down and start playing the PSR1500......, there's no way I'll buy the WK-3500, no way! I rather wait...

That's my story, thanks for listening and thank to all who have answered my questions.........I just hope that when I'm ready to buy the PSR1500, there will be no PSR3000's in the room ....

Apart a few voices more, megavoices, and vocal harmonizer... I think psr3000 is not so different to 1500.
So, someone disliking 1500 probably will dislike 3000 too.

The PSR2000 really has about the same tone as the 1500 and they are getting cheaper all the time on ebay.

I totally agree about the wait, and get something you know you will love, will be a solid, and professional product. My story is that about 3/4 of a year ago, maybe half, i dunno. But i was in search of a keyboard...my price... about 200 bucks... couldnt spend more... I liked the products at 200 bucks at the time, but there was always more money to dump into it to get something worth while. I kept jacking up what i was going to get all the way from a PSR 293 to a Roland XP-60, about three times as much as i originally planned to spend. It was a huge dent in my wallet, and it cleaned me out and then some. I loved that board alot, and was so glad i didnt go for the 293. I was new to the keyboarding scene, and if i were to get something of that caliber to spark my intrest, and keep it lit for a long time would be impossible with a 200 dollar board. Once i got my XP-60 enjoyed it fully and I planed to sell it before the value would decrease too much. because i could sell it, and buy something twice is power for a couple hundred more. I sold my XP for a Fantom-S, which IMO is the most amazing board i have yet encountered (maybe the Fantom-X takes the cake though ) I still have it and actually plan to keep it for...a couple years So theres my story of how an enspiring kid with 200 bucks, now has a high end workstation, four times as much but im actually debt free, its fully mine! But my moral is, you get what you pay for, and even if it takes more time to save up for something great, its worth every minute.

Phil

Sorry, pretty bad typos, i think i fixed most though

Vilo,
Do something, beg steal and borrow and get the Psr 3000. Better yet, get a WK 3500 and use it as a controller for the PSR.

Is there an installment option?
Some cash up front and the rest say 6 months?

i gotta agree with scott,if you can,t afford to buy the 1500 you will always feel low,buy a secondhand psr2000 at least you will have a good board that you already know to use while you are saving up, then at least you wont lose a lot of money when you sell the 2000,mike

BTW, the PSR1100 is 600 at MF. USB connection and all that jazz, i dont know much about the sounds features and stuff though, you might wanna check it out. But its a sure fire upgrade over the WK3.5k and its only like a hundred more.
